Laboratories available in the Information Technology Department

Labs and Equipment details:-

The information Technology Dept. has Computer labs, Smart Class Room, Class Rooms for advanced teaching and learning. Computer labs have advanced computers in which students get all the facilities to perform DBMS,
JAVA, LINUX, Python, DOT NET, Networking etc practical. Internet access is available in all the labs.

Programming Lab:-

Programming Lab is equipped with the Latest Configuration of All in One 35 Computers and 40 Desktop computers having programming support of Python, Java, Programming in C, Microsoft Visual Studio, etc.

DBMS Lab:-

Data Base Management Lab equipped with the latest software support like Microsoft Access, Online Tools to run queries, etc.

Networking Lab:-

The Networking Laboratory in the Department is designed so that the experiments reinforce the theory covered in lectures, while hands-on programming exercises train students to fit into networking positions in the industry. This lab provides the necessary facilities to carry out experiments. Some free network monitoring tools are Team Viewer, Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG, and Solar Winds.

Hardware Lab:-

The main objective of the lab is to provide the students the knowledge of computer hardware, processors, memories, motherboards, different add-on cards, and other peripherals like printers, plotters and scanners. The students are trained for the assembly and disassembly of PCs. Another important objective is to impart knowledge about the troubleshooting and fault finding of the computers and the peripherals.

Capabilities of the Hardware Lab

The Hardware and Maintenance Lab is used by the students to give the training/knowledge regarding the:
Different hardware components of a computer and their troubleshooting
Different peripherals, their performance and cost characteristics
Installation of various operating systems, their capabilities
Installation of commonly used software
Networking, network topologies and installation of LANs

Smart class:-

G-12 Smart Class Room:- A smart classroom is an upgraded classroom that enhances the teaching and learning process for both the teachers and the students by inculcating audio, video, animations, images, multimedia, etc. This increases the engagement factor and leads to better-performing students.
